A collaborative project between Kathleen Syme Library & Community Centre, Aboriginal Melbourne, local community and GROW Gardens.
At Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, GROW Gardens helped establish a garden celebrating Melbourne’s floral emblem, the Swamp Everlasting—Xerochrysum palustre.
The garden was designed as a changing mini ecosystem, with the Swamp Everlasting as its focal point and a seasonal mix of native companion plants supporting colour, habitat and pollinators.
Developed collaboratively with Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre, Aboriginal Melbourne, the local community and GROW Gardens, the project encourages people to learn, grow and connect.
